Financial Analyst, FP&A

Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity within the greater Finance group. We are seeking an experienced level Financial Analyst, FP&A to partner and support the Enabling Functions team. This position will support the annual budget and forecast processes and perform monthly financial reporting and analysis. This role will partner with CHS’ enabling function cost center owners and will report to the Manager FP&A, Enabling Functions.
To be considered for this specific role, qualified candidates will reside in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN metro area to work a hybrid structure (3+ days per week) at our corporate office located in Inver Grove Heights, MN.
Responsibilities
Serve as a business partner for enabling functions:
- Schedule monthly expense reports for cost center owners
- Support workflow management for expense and margin budget and forecast loads
- Provide monthly financial support on operating expenses and projects assigned
- Support CHS’ allocation system maintenance
- Prepare and upload budget and forecast template data
Support the budget processes and financial reporting for enabling functions:
- Work with enterprise FP&A and provide direction to enabling function leaders to ensure all budget requirements and timelines are met
- Execute internal controls and monitor results relative to financial action plans and milestones
- Track, report and explain variances to budget, creating consistency with enterprise FP&A reporting
- Support budgeting and forecasting for enabling functions, ensuring costs are correctly captured and budgeted holistically and comprehensively
Provide recurring reporting on actual results versus budget:
- Actively partner with FP&A team to review results, provide meaningful insights, and develop action plans
- Provide actionable insights, financial counsel, and metrics to drive cost optimization and guide sound decision-making
- Identify areas of opportunity to drive efficiency and automation of reports and distribution of information, partner with IT to execute improvements
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Statistics, Economics or related field
- 2+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, and/or Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A)
Additional Qualifications
- MBA/CPA/CMA
- Previous experience providing financial support for operating expenses
- Experience with SAP Cloud Planning (or similar financial software and planning tools)
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks at once
- Experience supporting finance across business and functional boundaries

Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
