Senior Business Intelligence Analyst - Finance

Summary
CHS has an exciting opportunity in our Finance Data Analytics division. We are seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Analyst to join a talented, energetic team, making a measurable impact through the work you do every day. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, exceptional analytical problem-solving skills and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Develop and Support Finance reporting using SAC, Power BI, and other Microsoft Power Platform tools for reporting and automation, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
- Collaborate with business and data engineering teams to translate business requirements into BI solutions, thereby improving efficiency, validating data, scaling ad-hoc analyses, and delivering actionable insights through reporting and visualization.
- Work with Data Engineering on scalable data pipelines (ingestion, transformation, distribution) and data models in Snowflake/Datasphere, ensuring alignment with advanced analytics needs across Snowflake, Datasphere, and Microsoft platforms.
- Support prioritizing requests and ensuring timely delivery.
- Apply an understanding of data engineering concepts (modeling, pipelines, security, Azure DevOps version control) to consult effectively with technical teams and ensure solutions are scalable and reliable.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying, designing, and implementing process automation, optimizing data delivery, and enabling greater scalability.
- Promote a culture of innovation, learning, and data governance by monitoring data quality and adhering to standard processes.
- Providing innovative solutions to support analysis and insights for Finance teams.
- Support business decisions with ad hoc analysis as needed.
- Support transition from legacy decommissioned platforms
Minimum Qualifications (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent work experience, education and/or training)
- 4+ years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Data Modelling and Data Visualization, including:
- Data Modeling using SQL
- Data visualization using Power BI or SAC or Tableau
- Version control using Azure DevOps or Git - Data Warehouse platforms such as Snowflake
- Ability to visualize and communicate complex data in a clear, actionable way
- Strong customer focus, with a passion for analytics and product quality.
Additional Qualifications
- Finance background
- Experience in Lean and Agile Methodologies
- Experience using Python and/or R for data science, analytics, and statistical modeling

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications, minimum wage/salary requirements under local law.
