Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity in the Information Technology Department. We are looking for an IT Business Systems Analyst Intern who can optimize processes throughout the implementation, support, and enhancement of CHS's SAP Demand to Supply - Enterprise Asset Management (DTS-EAM) solution to focus on asset management and the peripheral processes around asset maintenance. You must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, strong analytical and problem-solving skills and possess the willingness to learn new technologies and concepts. A successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment and independently.

Ideal candidates will live in the St. Paul/Minneapolis, MN metro area in order to work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days per week in the corporate office, located in Inver Grove Heights, MN); however, will consider remote options for top talent. The CHS IT Internship Program is targeted for 5/13/2024 - 8/16/2024 (this timeframe can be somewhat flexible).

Responsibilities

  • Learn and take responsibility for Asset Management, Inventory Management and Execution, Transactional Reporting related aspects of the SAP EAM solution.
  • Gain a deep understanding of business strategy and user needs, document business processes, and translate business objectives into proper system requirement specifications for resolving issues, new enhancements, and new applications.
  • Support requirement gathering process for large scale SAP EAM implementation project.
  • Support the SAP EAM team by providing expertise in enhancing efficiency of current IT/business processes through automation.
  • Work closely with business users on high visibility processes and procedures around asset management to simplify and improve execution and user experience.
  • Formulate and configure applications to meet business requirements and execute solutions that help business units achieve their strategic objectives.
  • Gather and document business requirements for resolving issues, enhancements, and projects.
  • Test and track business requirements through implementation.
  • Provide day to day support of IT processes and applications through the analysis and correction of incidents logged by business users.
  • Perform other work as assigned.
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Graduate degree program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Management, or similar STEM degree program

Additional Qualifications

  • SAP EAM experience with SAP S/4HANA 2021 FPS02 or higher
  • Strong analytical skills and desire to learn
  • Project management experience
  • Familiar with Microsoft Visio and Project
  • Experience with ServiceNow or other IT Service Management tools
  • Experience in Information Technology
  • Business Analyst experience through internships or industry experience
  • Experience developing and managing functional/technical specifications and test plans
  • Excellent documentation experience using Microsoft office, SharePoint or similar tools
  • Ability to identify system issues and drive forward the resolution
  • Experience with SAP processes implementing and/or supporting the EAM module in ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA
